Medical Admission Test Circular 2022-2023

Medical Admission Test Minimum Requirement
To be eligible to appear in the admission test for the academic year 2022-23, students must have completed their HSC/A level/equivalent in 2022 or 2021, and SSC/’O’ level/equivalent in 2020 or 2019. Additionally, it is necessary to pass both the HSC/equivalent and SSC/equivalent examinations. However, the SSC/equivalent exam must have been cleared within two years before passing the HSC/equivalent examination.
For both domestic and foreign students, it is mandatory to obtain a minimum GPA of 9.00 in both the SSC and HSC or equivalent examinations to be eligible for application. However, if a candidate has a GPA below 3.50 in any of the exams, they will not be able to submit their application. Moreover, a minimum GPA of 4.00 in Biology is required for all candidates in both SSC and HSC or equivalent exams.

Condition for 2nd Time Examine
In case a student is applying for the medical admission test for the second time, five marks will be deducted from their obtained marks (GPA mark + Admission Test mark). On the other hand, if a student was admitted to a government medical or dental college/unit in the previous year, eight marks will be deducted from their obtained numbers. This deduction will be made from the total score of the candidate, which will be based on their academic results as well as the score obtained in the admission test.

How to Apply For Medical Admission 2023
The medical admission system is entirely online-based, and there is no need to visit any physical location to apply. The application process is carried out through the DGHS Teletalk website. Here are the steps to apply for medical admission 2023:
- First, go to the official Medical Admission application link at dghs.teletalk.com.bd.
- Select the “Medical Admission 2023” option.
- Input your education-related information, including your SSC/HSC roll number, board, and result.
- To complete the admission form, you need to upload a scanned photo (300×300) and a scanned signature (300×80).
- Once you have uploaded the files successfully, your Applicant copy will be ready to print or download.
- Save a PDF copy of the application form for future reference.
- The Applicant copy will provide you with a User Name and password, which you will need when paying your admission fee.
- After paying the admission fee, you will receive a confirmation SMS.
